Well I always wondered if RDA's shooting schedule for Stargate SG1 in Vancouver didn't greatly contibute to his breakup with Apryl Prose. I read that they were both pretty clear that they wanted Wylie to go to school in LA, making it necessary for Apryl and Wylie to live there 7 days a week. Obviously RDA had to be in Vancouver 5 days a week for the shooting season. That's hard on a relationship.

QUOTE (Astra @ 28 September 2008 - 04:55 PM)

And as for RDA being my ideal of man, I want to state, I am not THAT kind of fan. Really. Guess I was the only one being totally calm when I stood next to him for the picture.

I remember taking part in this topic and then leaving the board...

I feel a bit compelled to react shortly to the quoted part. With all do respect to all the fans who are in love with the man, I am not.
Okay, I do have a soft spot for him, but not in a romantic way. He's my all time hero and me not being all that calm when the pic was taken has everything to do with that. (okay, I agree him being gorgeous in his Mac days and he still is charming to this very day)

No hard feelings towards Astra, please don't get me wrong, just felt like defending myself a bit there laugh.gif Guess it's a pride thing.

Back on topic; Are there any ex-es that do speak positively about him (in general, do ex-es ever speak positively on their former-halfs?)

Marlee Matlin apparently had some nice things to (briefly) say about him in her book? (by nice I mean polite wink.gif )

I don't have a love thing for Rick eather, I jsut see him as any other man who walked the same path as you or me i see him more as my hero then anything else now. i used to be in love with him but that childhood thing just went away as i grew older.
It's hard on any kind of relationship that deals with the one you love and family.
