I was wondering which episode was the first time Mac used a Motorcycle? "Family Matters" is best I can come-up with, but it is a second season episode. Surely it was earlier than that?

Don't think so. Family Matters is the earliest, then in Renegade, Cease Fire, High Control, Split Decision and The Stringer. He doesn't do it often and the first time was indeed I think in Family Matters.

Well the first time we see him on a motorcycle is in the flash back scene of Flames End, season 1.

Welcome to the community.

RDA rides a Harley in real life.. so I would guess that the bike in the Stringer is some kind of Harley.. but it would only be a guess.

As you can see by the below image... theres no real distinguishing features showing on the bike.

well my wife's just informed me that RDA is now riding a BMW bike.

Its a BMW R1200GS... the motorcycle version of an SUV.

The black bike is a Harley possibly a Sportster. The chrome oval air cleaner is a dead give away
