woundering if somebody has any clue about how to get an mp3 MacGyver Ringtone on a cell phone. My phone supports mp3's, but also im just looking for a good MacGyver ringtone.

When your telephone has bluetooth it's quite simple: download it onto your computer and transfer it via bluetooth. The invention of the century!

thanks for the tips, my only problem is getting them to my phone. I tried the bluetooth, but for some reason it didnt pick up. Whats the easiest way to get them on my cell phone?

its hard to say with no details about your phone

If your cell phone has a browser available, then use that to connect to the Internet. From there, just enter the address of the MacGyver theme song mp3 from the sound page. (The MP3 file itself) And you should be able to download it to your phone and then look under your files and apply it as a ringtone.

Well For Specifics My Phone is a Samsung SCH-a930, It has bluetooth, and an mp3 player. It also has v-cast, but i didnt activate it cause its $15 extra a month. I dont have Internet access on my phone, so how should I go about this?

well there must be a cable or something you use to get the mp3s onto your phone.

again READ THE MANUAL it will explain how all these options work and what (if any) extra cables etc you will need to buy.

Well I managed tp get the song downloaded to my phone, via USB cable. The only thing is, it is in my music folder. Does anyone know, how to get it as my ringtone? I checked the manual, but it didn't say. So im asking any phone tech savy people.

thanks for the link, although the process has been very complicated. Im very cell phone illiterate. It all seemed like computer babble, i still cant figure it out. In the process I managed to even lose, my MP3 of the song from my phone.

Seems to me you need someone to show you what to do.. like maybe the store you brought it from.. or something.

MacGyverPF I was in the same cell-phone challenged boat as you are and your only choice now is to put your phone in the capable hands of a very capable computer-knowing, technology-loving type friend. Just tell them what you want it to do, and if they're any kind of friend they will return it to you brightly chirping the MacGyver theme song. Try to make it a friend that "owes you one".

This thread brought back a memory of my very first cell phone from years ago before they were anywhere near capable of what they are now. Lol, I held it up to my computer speakers and recorded the Mac ring tone and then set it as my default tone, haha
