I've just added a new CD to the U.S. online Store. Its called Televisions Greatest Hits (from the 70's and 80's) and contains the MacGyver theme along with a host of other shows many of you will remember.

Thanks Rock!

Good deal. I've got that album and I do remember most of the theme songs on there!

(It's a good mix of 1970s and 1980s theme songs- starts with sitcoms and moves on to game shows and dramas and some more action/adventure and a few scifi/fantasy shows toward the end- including many of my favorites like Diff'rent Strokes, Mr. Belvedere, Growing Pains, Charles in Charge, ALF, Family Ties, The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries, The Incredible Hulk, Knight Rider, Doctor Who- and of course, the best one is MacGyver! )

Another theme that always gets to me is that of Twin Peaks.
My parents never let me watch it as they thought I was too young and it was too scary. So for some reason I always link the theme song to something eerie.

And Airwolf!! I just can't help myself humming it along everytime I hear it. It always brings a BIG smile to my face. Drove everyone crazy with it, it used to be my ringtone when I was still a cabin attendant.

Doctor Who - Its hysterical hearing someone try to sing along to that! Especially when they don't know anyone is within hearing range.

Oooo-oooo-oooohhh!!!!

(Love the Doctor Who theme )

And I've never watched Twin Peaks- but I think the theme song is actually kinda peaceful and relaxing- despite the fact that Laura Palmer's dad is possessed by the spirit of BOB and killed her! (Hope I didn't spoil the show for anyone there! )

And I love Airwolf! Great show- great helicopter- and a great theme song!

They have the KR theme on it, too! Cool!

I've only seen a few reruns of KR, but I love that theme.

Oh man I used to have a serious crush on Ricky Schroeder.

Here we are, face to face

The CD doesn't contain the original MacGyver theme, though.
It's just an awful, re-recorded version.
All the other themes are original, except MacGyver.

I used to have that CD, but I sold it on eBay a few years ago.
Although the back cover listed 65 theme songs, there were only around 60 on the CD itself.
But maybe that has been corrected in a later pressing...

It's definitely 65 theme songs on the CD.

I believe "Cosmos" is the last track on there.
