Hi everyone: I was wondering something ( as I usually do , hehe ) I don't know if this qualifies under the same question Rocky had a short while ago, but anyway, I will ask the question anyway. Love to hear what people think. I was thinking about the Pilot episode . The part when MacGyver had climbed the mountain to retrieve something about a missile ( the Palomino ) . And he is telling us the story about when he was a little boy and wanted to ride the neighbor's Palomino horse . There is sort of a double story going , because while he is telling us the story, we are seeing images of him knocking out the guard ( Hector , perhaps in place of him ) . And I began to wonder , this morning ( May 1st / 2007 ) , I mean when he knocked out the guard , he is heard to say, " so much for Hector ". That made me think, since Hector is the neighbor's dog, MacGyver wouldn"t have been so violent as to do something violent to Hector , would he . I mean, MacGyver was talking to Jack Dalton in an episode ( I think that is from " Lost love " episode . , and Jack said something about MacGyver is so nice, he would not even have killed a spider , so he couldn't have killed his girlfriend, Lisa. But my question is, what about Hector. What would MacGyver have done to Hector in order to get to that Palomino. ( And I am still able to think / hear MacGyver in my head as he is saying about he was so nervous about approaching that Palomino. There was sweat coming from him, enough that you could have watered the lawn. .) Any help to get me to understand what MacGyver would have done to Hector is appreciated. I mean, as I say in the beginning of this post, is does it fall under the same category as Rocky's post about MacGyver dealing with Larson in " The Challenge " What MacGyver would have done if Ray did not call out to him , as he stood there holding Larson's gun. If he would have killed Larson or not. Would he have killed Hector or what . Sincerely, Kate Mackay
