Yep, healthy eater. But I am still having a hard time considering tofu in any form food, healthy or otherwise.

I'm with you on the tofu -- I'd rather try to eat raw squid. Actually, bad example. I'm very fond of raw squid. Can't stand tofu.

Tofu=chopped kitchen sponge..........yuck.

Not so sure about the raw squid, I actually prefer mine lightly cooked, but I do love other types of sushi.

I grew up a vegetarian, and I've found there are many creative and delicious recipes you can make using tofu, so I'm in the minority here (along with Mac) in admitting that I actually like it.

More power to you, MChick! I suspect a good recipe helps.

It really does make all the difference. My dad was an amazing chef when it came to tofu--you would never see anything as disgusting or unappealing as Mac's tofu casserole on our table!

I did honestly try tofu. Stir fried with Chinese long beans in a hot spicy brown sauce. It looked great. It tasted great (the beans and the sauce anyway) but I just couldn't get past the texture of the tofu. It really did feel like chopped up sponge.

If I had grown up eating it, then I would be telling a different story.

My dad even made frozen pies with it, believe it or not (peanut butter and strawberry come to mind). You would never guess they had tofu in them.

Probably not, unless you spilled the beans (soy, of course) and told me.

For those of you who have never watched Stargate SG1 I apologize. I also suggest that you give it a whirl. MacGyver versus Jack O'Neill. I found that crossover on a fanfiction site!

Rocky, I'm sure I remember you setting that up once as a writing challenge -- or was it one of your 'Grudge Matches'? -- but I can't remember where it is.

I love writing those two together sometimes, and surprisingly, it isn't as challenging as I thought it would be. In my crossovers, they seem to play off each other nicely.

Yeah I remember that. But I don't remember the outcome.

But which one would win in a fight? Jack with a huge gun and his military experience or Mac, with his knowledge of science?
It's funny watching Jack O'Neill in the beginning of Stargate Sg1 making fun at scientists.
But I have to confess, I think Mac would talk his way out of the fight. In battle, Mac would get his butt kicked by Jack and his team. But Mac's a good guy, so there would never be a need. Just a thought. Tired. Going to bed.

Cool! Sooo, we keep playing this game until we have beaten every subject to death or do we declare a winner at some point. How does one win a game -every one gets bored and stops leaving one? How do you win at any of these games or get your sanity back? I've only been doing this for 5 days and I already feel as if my brain is being sucked out, my sanity too. I can honestly say I am glad to have met a group of individual as certifibly crazy as myself, because yall are nuts!!!
