Too right Loth! I'm very uncommon on MOL these days. I need to be more organised and try to visit when I have time enough to read all the posts I've missed and to catch up on the fanfic.

Its nice to see I'm still recognised as a harmless visitor and no exterminators were called.

Just time for a couple of short (sorry!) PM's that I should have sent ages ago and then I've got to dash before i miss the boat!

I'll be back soon - hopefully for more than 5 minutes next time!

Chocolate works...much better motivator. And hey guess what? I dropped out for a while because I had a spark of inspiration and was working on a story.

Its not a Mac story though. Its something I am thinking of submitting to the Sabine Bauer workshop. And yes, I might just let you read it if you ask nicely.

Of course, it's a US dollar, so it's still a bit short.

But still spendable.

5 days...holy cats!!!! 5 days until Vancouver!

Omg... omg... Just one more day before I fly to Seattle... to meet MacBeth!!

And just three more til I meet MacGyverGrrl and Astra and a whole bunch of cool people!

And of course, RDA, eventually...

I am so excited!

everyone has to bring back lots of photos! And someone HAS to mention MOL to RDA.

So he at least knows there a big loyal fan-base to MacGyver.

MOL will be well-represented at Gatecon, I think. 'Beth, Grrl, Astra, and myself will purport ourselves with the highest attainable standards of dignity (considering the circumstances). Oxygen equipment and super-absorbent towels will be in evidence.

And when I go in for my autograph session (*squee*), if I retain the ability to speak coherently, I will certainly let RDA know that he has many loyal fans here.

No, honestly, we will represent MOL proudly and try to let RDA know that there is a site dedicated to 'MacGyver' built on integrity, intelligence, humor, and camaraderie.

And we'll keep the swooning in private.


When I mentioned this trip to folks at work and at my gym, they didn't understand who I was talking about -- (okay, gibbering and drooling about)-- I would say, "Stargate SG-1... Jack O'Neill"... and they would say "Oh, that's nice" and give me a blank look...

Until I added "You know... the guy who played MacGyver--That's who!" Then it was all "Ohh!" and "Ahh!" and "OMG! You're going to meet HIM?" lol!

... and then, of course, I had to endure the endless teasing about duct tape and tube socks! *snickers*

*Sighs* You guys are so lucky! I wish I could go. I can't wait to hear your reports on what happened, and be sure to bring us some pictures as well! Have fun! I will live the experience vicariously through you!
