I'm trying to find a housesitter for my cats. They're very unusual: each one has two tails.

Two of the collie dogs that the vet I work for raises had puppies.

Tasha had 9 and Maisie had 10.

I am giving them temporary names, mostly so we know which pup we are talking about.
So: so far I have named some of Tasha's: Yip, Yap, Yelp, Yack, Yammer and Yodel...

Anyone else have any ideas for silly names?

You could name Maisie's pups after grain and seeds:

Corn
Wheat
Oats
Rice
Millet
Quinoa
Lentil
Flax
Barley

and, of course, Maize -- for the pup who looks the most like Mom.

My uncle has 6 dogs of which 4 of them are named after food:

Tomato
Potato
Dumpling
Sesame

All of them are my favourite!

My friend named some of her cats after her own kids (she has 14... cats, that is, not kids) so that, even though her kids are all grown up and moved out, she can still yell at them!

Rocky has a cat named Sardine.

Can I Qualify for the sympathy win?

Have been spending time with my Dad in hospital. He had a mild heart attack a couple of weeks ago and they managed to put 1 stent in last week and they are doing another 1 tomorrow.
He gets very claustrophobic in hospitals and is a miserable patient, so we try to have someone with him as much as possible. He had a heart bypass 10 years ago and a bad car accident 22 years ago (in which Mum passed away). So he always wants to get out as quick as he can. So far he is doing quite well.
It's lucky I have 3 sisters and a stepmum, so we can share the love around.

Dad's 2nd procedure went really well and they inserted 2 stents into the artery. He is home now, doing well but feeling very emotional. I think he realises he is lucky to be alive.

When my kids were little we had Guinea Pigs and although we started with what we were told were 2 girls, at one stage we ended up with 36 of them. We named them all after herbs and spices, cinnamon and nutmeg were the originals and we had Tarragon, Sage, Basil, Parsley, Rosemary etc.

There's 36 spices?

There must be! Have you looked down the tea aisle lately?
