My Scots friends inform me that 'Scotch' refers to whiskey, and 'Scots' refers to people. As long as they're providing the Scotch, I see no reason to disagree with them.

And no, I don't think duct tape is used on ducts. I believe it was developed for that purpose, but didn't work right. So the only thing it doesn't fix is the one thing it was designed to.

Anyway, This is my amazing use for tape. So I teach 4th and 5th grade orchestra and also private violin students. It's a long-standing trick of the trade among us string teachers to use really thin car detailing tape to mark off the basic finger positions on the instruments. The kids even get to pick their favorite color.
