Ha ha! Those are so cool! That's great that people actually think up funny stuff like that I think if we got nerd flashcards though, they'd be more along the lines of "A" is for Atonal harmony, "B" is for Bach, and "C" is for the key of C Major

I really used to know a lot of bad musician jokes but alas my variety of jokes has changed. I now say things like there's a EE (electrical engineer) in the middle of every beer.... I can do chemistry jokes too...

My hubby's a double bass player so I've heard'em all If you want a great music joke, or random gossip the bass section is the place to go. They hear and see everything that goes on. It's amazing!

My father was a nuclear physicist. There aren't all that many physicist jokes around, and a lot of them also involve engineers. He had great delivery -- a very good sense of humour.

Strange things have happened to my appetite since Junior jacked it. Last week it was french fries and tomatoes. This week, it's sausage... I have no control! AAA!

Ah. The joke is that there are two things you should never, ever watch being made: laws, and sausages. In both cases, the process is disgusting and you don't really want to know what goes into the finished product.

The big difference is that you can choose to avoid the latter, but everyone has to live with the former.

My father told me that joke when I was in high school. He also took me out of school for the day and took me to the state legislature while it was in session. So I got to watch laws being made. And it really is a rather disgusting process.

I've never actually seen sausage-making, though.
