Actually, you wouldn't beleive what i have in my violin case there's some pretty scary things in there ranging anywhere from batteries to food. the life a musician is a beautiful thing

It's a pretty entertaining violin case. What can I say? After spending hours locked in practice rooms with Bach, Mahler and Beethoven, sometimes you just get bored.In fact, last year, the door to my practice room got jammed and i couldn't get out. Now if i'd have been smart lik Mac, i would have found something in my case to get out, but nope. It didn't even occur to me!

all I did was bang on the door and try to get somebody's attention, but everybody else in the other practice rooms were all either trumpet or saxaphone majors so they couldn't hear me. I'm claustrophobic so it was kinda scary!

You should probably carry a lock pick set then in your violin case....or learn how to use fine tuners and extra strings to pick to unjamb doors. Rosin's gotta be good for something, not sure what, but it's just gotta. My viola case always had boring stuff in it - just a couple of $$ for vending machines. My backpack however, that is scary.

I keep a SAK in my minivan, right next to the first aid kit. So very handy at parks and impromptu fishing trips with the kids.
