I checked out that list. I love it! XD It was one of the first things I ever noticed about the show was that he was always seen eating something at least once in every episode. Usually something healthy-ish.

The second was that people keep asking him "what are you doing?" and he has to explain himself. Personally, his best response was "mixing stuff". XD

I always thought Mac was pretty well dressed, given the styles of the 80's and 90's. Some of his shirts needed to be burned, but for the most part I never had a problem with his wardrobe.

The clothes, like the hair, are now something you can either laugh at or cringe over, and I much prefer the former. Having lived through it myself, I don't actually mind either. When I started watching the show again on DVD, about five years ago, I didn't mind Mac's hair at all -- the toughest thing for me was the women's fashions. Between the big hair and the shoulder pads, I really was cringing.

Michael is going to be on an episode of NCIS (if it hasn't, in fact, already aired) playing a .... wait for it... aging Rock-n-Roller! I think perhaps he is one performer who doesn't mind that typecast! lol

I saw a clip of a baaaad movie with Michael Des Barres in it a few days ago... as the leader of some bizarre cult or other. He was perfectly insane! All that practice as Murdock paid off! lol

I also saw a clip from 'Nip/Tuck' (one of the many many shows I never watch), in which MdB played a person of, um, indeterminate gender, who was a plastic surgery addict. He was great.

He is so brilliantly OTT! Especially in character! lol

He's also held up really well over the years. Maybe all the fresh air helped -- you know, from falling from a great height so many times.
