Just to let you know, that MacGyver is being shown on FX channel (UK) sky tv.

Its being shown at 3 different times 11am-3pm-7pm

Yes I noticed that too.

MacGyver - channel 179/180 on sky. Its showing season 1 at the moment at all times, I seen it on this week at 12pm, 1pm, 6pm, 7pm and even 8pm and 9pm along with NCIS, Nash Bridges, Third watch and a few others.

I wonder how long they will show it for? I hope it becomes regular like Nash Bridges and NCIS.

Top stuff love it.

MacGyver is like going home, I agree with that post.

Our TV is airing MacGyver again, from 5th season. First 4 seasons were aired last year and now they are finishing the series

The A-team, Flying Doctors, 'Allo 'allo, Roseanne, Murder She Wrote, that-show-about-the-English-veterinarian-whose-name-I-accidentally-forgot, Empty Nest, Dinotopia, Who's the Boss, Flodder, Bon Bini Beach, The Nanny, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc....

But no MacGyver!

Well- sounds like you've got a good mix of shows anyway. "Flying Doctors"? Not familiar with this one. Sure you don't mean "The Flying Nun"?

The A-Team and Who's The Boss? are definitely great shows- and Murder, She Wrote is a pretty good mystery show too. I remember watching 'Allo 'Allo some years ago and that's a pretty funny show.
I think the show about the English veterinarian you're talking about may be "All Creatures Great and Small"- which was based on a book (which, if I'm not mistaken, I think is based on a true story.)
That one's a classic too!
But yes- as good as these choices are- they really can't compare with MacGyver!

Its an Australian drama based around the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Which flys doctors out to remote locations around the Australian outback.

Flying Doctors is a great show! Even though the eps are a little outdated, I still love it.

The vet show was named James Herriot, a very old tv show. Loved it as a kid.

A-team I don't like, The Nanny I totally dislike, but 'Allo 'Allo is brilliant (especially the police officer, he's great!! Goodmurnin!)

But I want MacGyver. Surely that isn't too much to ask?

That's the guy I was thinking of. He's got a book called "All Creatures Great and Small" (it's a series of books, actually- and I believe those are what the TV show is based on)
