I was just wondering, while I was catching up with the second season of Prison Break who of the two would be the brightest or maybe the best. I've been trying to figure out some sort of comparison between MacGyver and Michael Scofield.

MacGyver is a bit of everything, he's smart, thinks twice, is resourceful, can make things out of nothing. He knows something about almost everything, science, chemistry, the environment and nature.

Michael Scofield is more calculated in his ways than MacGyver and can think under pressure. He always plans ahead. Thinks everything over. And I think mathematically seen he has a huge IQ.

I wonder if MacGyver and Michael Scofield had to do an IQ-test which one would have the most. I think it would be Scofield and MacGyver following very very closely. They both got the brains.

Never seen the show.

Last week I saw the first two episodes of season one and I will keep watching, liked it a lot. It's interesting how piece by piece we find out about his plan and then there are the things he could not think of before and therefore has to make adjustements.

I didn't get though why the brothers have different names.

And yes, I also saw some kind of MacGyver in him. When he was getting the nail for making a screwdriver out of it, for example. Unfortunately, in a prison there are not so many things like Mac always had.

What would have happened if they ever really had put him into a room with just nothing at all?

I once read a fanfiction where they knew Mac very good to do so. Nicki had to come to his rescue then.

Maybe Scofield is his mother's last name. I also have my mother's name and my brother has his father's name.
