He came close in the opening gambit of "Thief of Budapest"....except for the cowboy outfit and gun part...

He made a pretty good cowboy in "Serenity" and "MacGyver's Women" though- cowboy hat, mustache, but no gun though!
Cowboy Mac doesn't need that- he's got a really cool ancient Swiss Army Knife!
