Man, there's been a lot of rain in Texas this summer! A week hasn't gone by without at least minor flooding! About three weeks ago a lady from my church drowned when her car got washed under an overpass, and ended up in seven feet of water.

Has there been wacky weather where you are, too?

Weather here is sucky, crappy, bugger, nasty, cold, chilly, wet, shyte, just down right BAAAAAAAAD!

It's not summery at all. It stinks!

Well, thing is... in April we had this terrible drought, without one drop of rain. When I was on lunch break I started joking around with a colleague and performed a rain dance. Ever since that day it's been poooooooouring.

So, in order for me to arrange that rain I need to come over.
(I promise I won't make fun of the president! )

I'm REALLY fed up with it. Yuck!

Horrible, un-summery in the north of Spain too. Umbrellas, overcoats, socks, and boots. No tan, no beach, no mosquitoes (wait, this is actually great!); plenty of water in the reservoirs up here.

Madrid: hot and sticky for all I know.

Sounds like this weird weather is worldwide. I think we've really messed up the climate.

When it should have been winter we had spring - no snow, warm days, flowers still (or again) blooming. There were roses in december! Weird.

When it was spring we already had the summer with much heat.

Now that it is summer we do have fall - rain, wind, storm even. And hail!

I'm looking forward to the snow coming in fall.

I live in the same area as Sheepy, just the country below her and the weather doesn't interest me but it's been a weak month, sure would like to have 33 degrees. That's what they say we'll get for Monday. Yeah right and when it's Monday it's probably raining again. I don't (really) care.

You don't like going to the beach or having a pool party or BBQ with friends MG? I will invite you over as soon as I'm throwing a party!

Of course I do.

Like I always said like it hot between March and October but between November and Frebuary I like it cold.

The only parties in my area are flooded house clean-up parties.

we've just gotten through 120mph storm with a months worth of rain in 1 day.

Of coarse it is winter here... which is when you expect bad weather to happen...

Its hot. Its dry. Its a desert. Its really hot (100+ for days). Its really dry (hasn't rained for 41 days). Its a desert. Its summer in the desert. Its hot. I am soooo happy God invented central air conditioning................

It's been a horrible summer so far. high 90's and humidity to match them. Yesterday the air was so "thick" you couldn't even breathe outdoors. Today is supposed to shower and then cool off

It rained Thursday!!!!!!!!!!! The temp cooled for a few hours, tomorrow right back to 100s. But for just a short time, the desert smelled clean and fresh instead of smokey from wildfires.

It's cold and stormy here (winter ) ... lots and lots of rain ....

I'm so sick of this humidity and heat, I'd love to be cold. One of these days I'll get over my fear of your giant spiders and sail on down to NSW

Looks like the Belgian rain weather.

We've had a hot weekend. Suddenly from 16°C to 33°C. By the end of this week apparently again 16°C. We had some good rain though last night.

Finally, over the last few days the weather has improved. It's been fairly warm (to hot at night, and I mean hot as in "Sticky" not as in something else.... unfortunately)

I have a friend in Dapto, whom sends me photos and souveniers and goodies -- just love that Billy Tea and Cherry Ripes - but when she told me about the spiders as big as dinner plates, that scared me off lol. I'll get there, I have to it looks way too beautiful to miss

Fortunately, I have never seen spiders as big as that (or I would have fled the country!) - I believe they are in the more tropical parts of Australia (Queensland and parts of NSW).

Australia's a gorgeous country!!

Then I shall visit those areas..........though my spider-seeing friend lives in Dapto, NSW...........
