Dear friends,

This is to announce that I'M ON VACATION! Sorry for the caps (especially for those of you who aren't actually on holiday) but after a looong and very busy year (and an even busier fall to come), I have well deserved a few weeks' vacation. Left my office neat and organized, my "to-do-list" clean, instructions for my team, and my inbox tray empty (God knows what I'll find when I'm back because it usually takes me a few days just to read and process all that's happened in my absence.) Will be posting and reading sporadically because I'll be traveling but in any case have taken some fanfics to read and will be back shortly.

Thanks to all and "read" you soon!

Have a great trip!
Enjoy yourself loads!

BON VOY AH GEE!

Have Fun!!

Hope you have a great time and great weather for your vacation! Of course, even a bad vacation is better than a good day at work!

Well, I'm back: thanks for your good wishes, folks. Actually had a bit of a disaster at the beginning: my mum broke her ankle; my brother in law had a car accident (actually a car ran him over while he was cycling and broke his shoulder), but everything is allright now.

The weather? It was horrible (I'll ask again: did anybody steal the touchstone, despite this being from a different show?), but all in all, it's been a relaxing vacation. Charged my batteries, found my office packed with stuff, my e-mail inbox full of junk, and I already have a mile long to-do list.

But I am glad to read you all again.

Sounds like you need a vacation to recover from your vacation

Really I do, I do, I do

Hehehe know exactly how you feel!

Did you have a good time?

Welcome back!

Yes, thank you. A vacation is always great and I'm usually so busy the rest of the year that simply changing the "landscape" is usually enough.

Even had a cousin of mine come all the way to Spain from San Antonio (TX) with her two children who hardly speak any Spanish at all. So while we were at my place, I put on a couple of MacGyver episodein English while we were chatting somewhere else. They absolutely LOVED it (one is 10 and the other is 14) !! You have to educate the young...

Absolutely!

MacGyver is a wonderful show to introduce to kids today, especially given the junk alternatives on TV now. I think kids are more receptive to this show because it's fun and exciting. They respond to it the way we did when we were kids.

That was one of my "approved" programs that my son, neices and nephews could watch. It's still on my "babysitters" list, for the times I do have kids around. They never complained... they liked MacGyver. Even the hokey episodes...

And non-violent, a good thing to impress upon the young

Couldn't agree more with you folks
