There are galleries for each of the tags (MacGyver, Jack O'Neill, ASL), and the icon gallery has a sub-gallery of "seasonal" icons. Currently, that means various editions of RDA wearing assorted Santa hats. Give me a few more holidays and I might add to it . . .

One of my partner's many endearing habits is hunting up fascinating and weird items online and sending me the links so I can enjoy them too. This evening's highlight was a link to a really amazing dinosaur called an azhdarchid, shown here with an adult human for scale.

Melissa then suggested that I replace the generic scaling figure with Mac, and add a caption.



Bonus points to whoever can identify the episode from which the image of Mac was taken.

Incidentally, you'd be surprised how hard it is to find a standing head-to-toe image of Mac!

Hmmmm... based on the clothes he's wearing, I'd say that it is probably.... umm...

I have no idea.

Okay. After extensive research ... *clutches DVD box for Season1*... I have come to the conclusion that it is definitely almost probably from the Opening Gambit for 'The Gauntlet'... the one called 'The Map'.

Yes, Lothi, you're right -- and I truly appreciate the depths of suffering you must have endured, watching all those episodes.

It's from "The Map", which, ironically enough, leads into "The Gauntlet", featuring the lizard-eating scene. The screen cap is from MacsYourMan.com. I did have to manipulate the image somewhat so that Mac's head would be tilted slightly upwards. And to add the dinosaur, or course.

I suspect the screen capture is most recognisable because of that very manly pink shirt Mac is wearing.

Liz, I use Photoshop to build the LOLs -- that's why it's the subtitle of the thread. I originally started posting about them in this thread, before Rocky added the Galleries section to the forums.

MacBeth, I just thought it was a funny subtitle. Lol!
