For MacsChick's story: Shake Hands with the Devil
Part 5: When he heard Pete’s footsteps creaking on the floor, he slowly turned his gaze towards him. With his tousled hair and wide brown eyes, he looked boyish.

>_< Okay, first of all this is NOT finished. But it was driving me crazy and I decided to post it so that I can see it in a different light and correct whatever is bothering me (the hair is defenitely NOT done yet, I forgot the hightlights... but he'll be finished soon). For such a nice, good-natured fellow Mac likes to tease me a lot ("Is not easy to capture my incredibly handsome looks.") Evil Mac.

AND YES!! I know he looks manga/anime (Japanese cartoon art style). This is the way I work my style and I really like it, so please, don't flame me 'cause he doens't look "americanized" enough, ok? Also, please take note that this is the way I prefer to visualize Mac - his looks from season 2 to 4: brown hair and very slender. For some reason or another, his blond hair and obvious gain of weight in the last seasons was bothering me. Not that it was bad, it just that he seemed like another person to me. (I'm weird, I've been told enough.)

Still, hope people like it, specially you, MacsChick! Thanks for being such nice source of inspiration!

Err... comments are always good and well apreciated. As a matter of fact, go to all the stories you'd read so far and make a comment if you haven't so far!

(Critic is welcome as well. Please let me know if you like it or how can I improve - as long as the improvement isn't "change the style" option. I'm learning - that's why it takes me so darn LONG to do such a simple pic, although I guess scanning it at 600% was part of the problem too So, anything you say can help me out a lot!)

It looks great! I like it! Well done! I like Mac's looks through all the seasons, so it doesn't matter to me how you draw him--I'll like it either way!

He's supposed to still be a little thin during this part of the story anyway because of his recovery from his torture and trying to regain the weight he lost from being almost starved to death, so you captured it perfectly! Thanks!

FINISHED!!!! About freagin time I got off my lazy butt and finish this drawing if I may say so myself! Spending time fighting with thesis is NO FUN AT ALL, kids!! ARGHHH!

Just in case no one notices, the shadows are better and I got to place the hair highlights. Those were tricky sometimes (I'm very bad with the whole shadow/light arrangement). I'm pretty pleased with how he came out, which is a miracle on its own. I'm my worst critic But, hey, I'm peachy this time! Mac is so dreamy

For MacsChick's story "Shake Hands with the Devil" Part 1. This one was inspired by the intro scene, where MacsChick describes Mac's appearance, but this image is exactly when he sees El Diablo character, thus his chocked expression (I hope he looks shocked enough - that's the reason his eyes look so small compared with the other picture).

MacsChick, this is my gift for you! Is my "thank you" for always bringing wonderful stories and being nice and all that to me. You're among one of my fav writters of all time.

Awww....thank you. I haven't forgotten about my current story, by the way--I'm working on the next part now. It's just taken longer to post because the lease on my car is up and I've had to take care of that aspect of real life (I'm buying it--yipee)!

Awww! Thanks, trtlsoup. I'm glad people enjoy my art. I'm really trying to become better (and faster!) so I can upload at least one a week. Lets see if I can finally get rid of the whole thesis business and I will defenitely try!

(LOL, oh, so... if I make more drawings then you'll write fanfics? *evil laugh* You know I'm a fanfic addicted, right?)

Well, so people can get their MacsChick's MacGyver illustrations fix...

I've been a bit busy (stupid thesis business!! Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!! And having to fix the mess of a house I live in right now thanks to all the paperwork and books I needed for the evil thesis thing!! Die, thesis, die!!!!!), so for now I'll just post some sketches I did.

If I get a "slave" (LOL) to help me out with my messed up life then hopefully by next week I'll have them fully-colored in Photoshop like I did with the previous other two pictures. But I was dying to show them up (sucker for attention, I guess ) and couldn't wait to have them finished. At the same time I think is a good idea to show that I DO make these drawings from the scratch up.

He was curled on his side, facing Pete, sleeping peacefully for the first time in five years, uninterrupted by disturbing nightmares

Honestly I'm very proud of how these two came out, but for some reason the one where Mac fainted is my favorite. I guess is because of all the perspective thig and the dinamic feel I got from doing it upside down, thus making it more interesting. Also, this is the first time I draw a full body drawing of Mac. I think the proportions came out pretty good. I dunno. I feel really happy how these drawings came out (for once!!).

Still, any constructive criticism is more than welcome. I'm trying to become better!

Oh, ghostdoll...those are incredible! I like the illustration of him fainting, too. It almost looks like a storyboard, as if you were directing the live action version of what I've written! Amazing job, as usual. Have you thought about drawing anything for my current story? Only if you have time and the inspiration, of course...

*evil laugh* Yes, I have. But I'm googling pictures of padded rooms and restrain beds 'cause I have no foggy idea what they look like!! I have bad luck making effective google searches sometimes But as soon as I can come with something decent I'll post it here

Mac was caught in Issac Mendez's loft making a bomb out of a paint brush, paint thinner, and a paperclip! His ability to make extraordinary things out of ordinary objects is stunning!
