Ah, Atlantis...I love SGA, too. But the great debate of SG-1 vs SGA is a rough sea to sail. I was firmly in the SG-1 camp for years, and in a war I'd still run there, methinks, but SGA has grown on me. Took a second watching to get it, but while SGA is still more plot-driven and SG-1 more character-driven, in my mind, I'm really rocking the SGA these days!
Of course, a lot of that has to do with the fact that once I cared more about the characters, SGA became more character driven for me, but that's beside the point!
Oh, and Paul McGillion being the coolest star on the planet helped, too!!!
Bottom line? If there's a SG fan census, well...
