I just found this advertisement/poster for the Trail to Doomsday movie.

Anyone know where it's from?

I've never seen or heard of a poster for TtD.

I ran across this poster some time ago online. I'm still not totally sure where they're from either, but I can hazard a guess.
From what I understand, both "MacGyver: Lost Treasure of Atlantis" and "MacGyver: Trail to Doomsday" have been rerun quite a few times in England. (Whereas in the USA, they were just aired once in 1994.)
It's possible that there was maybe an official release of the TV-movies on video in the UK. Or the poster could be some sort of advertisement for the TV-movies rerunning in the UK. (like something that might be placed in TV Guide or whatever).
I'm not really sure of the origin exactly, but it does make a great video cover.

So it looks like these very well could be actual video covers for VHS releases of the MacGyver TV-movies (in Germany and Europe in general, I guess.)
Though it may have also been released to the USA.
Though you won't find it listed nowadays, some years ago I remember finding a listing for both MacGyver TV-movies on Movie Gallery's Web site (a video rental store.)
So I can only assume that they had somehow procured copies through this Beta Film company, as it seems to be the only company that's done any kind of release for the TV-movies on VHS (and Paramount finally released them on DVD recently- though a single issue release of the TV-movies on DVD is still needed!)

Anyway- just thought that was interesting to note. It seems MacGyver generally got VHS releases (somewhere in the late '80s and early '90s I'd guess) in most of Europe and Japan, but never in North America, that I know of- with the possible exception of the TV-movies.

Mac's hair looks kind of scary in that "Atlantis" poster!

Do you suppose there was a formal rule that all posters for the MacGyver movies had to have an image in the lower left corner of Mac diving away from an explosion? Or was it just a coincidence?

About 3 or 4 years ago, I took Jade to a Drew Carey concert for his birthday. The finale was Drew and one other cast member (can't remember his name) blindfolded and barefoot, doing a skit while walking among 100 mousetraps. Every time one of the guys stepped on a trap and snapped it on their bare feet, if they dropped a curse word they had to pay the rest of the cast $50.

It was the funniest thing I have seen in live comedy.

Five years ago, a mouse was living in my car. I parked the car outside in the cold and snow, so Mickey moved into the garage. Jade set traps eveywhere. Then he told me that if we catch a mouse in the trap, all I have to do is take out the dead mouse, reset the trap and replace it in the garage.

My answer: scoop up mouse and trap with the snow shovel, deposit mouse and trap in the trash can, go to Walmart for new mouse trap, wait for Jade to come home from work and set new trap.

I will do many many different things..........touching dead rodents, however, is not one of them...........*full bod shudder* YUCK!

I had a mouse in my car once, and had to set the trap in the car itself! But as far as I'm concerned, mousetraps are single-use items. Trap and mouse go to oblivion together.

Given that the spring on a mousetrap is strong enough to snap the spine of the mouse, it's nothing to fool around with!

I told Jade that if the mouse had run out of the heater vent I would have parked it (car) in the canal along I80 at 80mph! The mouse had built a HUGE nest on top of the engine block. Good thing it was January. If it was summer it might have started a fire.

So just to drag this back on topic before debauchery sets in. Do we actually know if these are posters, or just video covers?

Seems like they could serve as both really. (And some movie posters do become the eventual video cover, so it's possible that this is the case.) As it seems this Beta Film company did in fact legitimately release the TV-movies on I'm guessing VHS (and probably PAL at that- though perhaps NTSC as well, since I promise you I've seen both TV-movies listed at www.moviegallery.com in years past.)
But I can't say definitively myself- I don't know. It would bear further investigation- perhaps by attempting to contact the horse's mouth itself and talk to Beta Film. I may try to look into this just to see what I can find, if anything.

It would seem that those posters are just that- posters. They were part of a press release package to advertise the airing of the MacGyver TV-movies, but it doesn't seem that they were also used as VHS video covers- at least not that I can tell.
