Hi there again!!! PBE here. I can remember him having the Jeep and that sweeeeeet Oldie's 50's style yellow and brown truck. Sorry!! But that's all I can remember. I was in high school when I watched the show (and now I'm 32) and don't remember much now about the show!!! (Dang.)

The blue and white one (my fave!) was a vintage Chevy Nomad (mid-to-late 50's, I think).

oh and his Motorcycle.

So four vehicles in all, not counting the odd rental he used on various assignments.

And I'd still like to know what happened to the vehicles in the 7th season.

Many vehicles appareared in the tv show

That's true of any long running TV show if your counting every single vehicle from any scene (including background vehicles), which ever appeared on screen.

Well I still wondering which was the color of the MacGyver's jeep

I posted close up pictuere in this topic which shows the jeep has shades of green in it.

So my guess is the jeep was green and is very warn.

Someone did suggest that it might have been camouflage colored, which would explain why it looks brown from a distance, but has the green close up.

The vehicles got progressively worse as the series went on. The jeep was great-- it suited the character, and it had a certain element of ruggedness/adventure to it. The yellow pick-up looked pretty cool and still seemed somewhat rugged, but it didn't suit him as well as the jeep. The blue station wagon was pretty lame-- kind of like something a soccer mom would drive. Fortunately, by season 7, the show's writers realized the error of their ways, and they brought back the jeep.

That's a pretty good synopsis actually.

I was about to say the vehicles seemed to reflect the downward slide of the show, but season 7 had the jeep, even though it had the worst episodes of the whole show. So I wasn't quite right with that.

Haha... yeah, season 7 certainly had its problems. The one thing I will say in its defense, though, is that it mostly steered clear of being preachy, and it brought the focus back to the action, which kind of mirrored the return of the jeep. Overall, season 7 is still the weakest, I completely agree, but unlike season 6, at least we weren't subjected to watching weekly public service announcementss (instead, we were subjected to stupidity like Honest Abe, Deadly Silents and Good Knight, MacGyver.... hmmm, not sure which is worse!)
