The below shots are from the opening scene on The Prodigal (which is also used again in the Countdown episode)

The shot pans across the road and up to show MacGyver standing on his balcony wearing a yellow top and brown pants.

But if he's on the balcony.. then who's the guy walking up the street wearing the same clothes?

Ahhhh! Gaff!

Maybe that's Steve Blalock running out to grab a coffee before he's needed again for a stunt/body double scene!

Or maybe Venice Beach is teeming with tall, athletic Minnesota boys!

Oops?

That would be nice, huh?

Interestingly enough MacGyver's actually looking off in the direction of where that guy was walking... maybe he's have a WTH!? moment as well.

Yeah, Mac's probably thinking: 'jeez... do I really walk that way?'

and "Man! I gotta stop tucking my pant bottoms into my socks like that!"

"How can you be in two places at once when you're not anywhere at all . . . ?"

"Hey, fella... yeah, you in the yellow shirt! Bring up the mail when you come up, will ya? Throw away all the junk first."

I know Mac's fast but that fast? One minute on the street the next with an orange juice on his terrace? He's probably thinking, 'I can still see myself from a second ago.' or 'Some peoples!'

Wait a sec. If he sees himself shouldn't that cause a rip in the space-time continuum and destroy the entire universe? Of course that's the worst case scenario.

I think the man on the street has black hair and Mac has brown...

From a distance brown can look like black though.

It's hard to tell what the color it really is, becasue the picture isn't lit very well.

My first 2 thoughts where along the lines of what Nymphy and Loth said...

Although I though they may just had wanted all crew and staff not actually working on that shot to be out on the street to make it look active, and Steve was already dressed and ready to fill in for RDA in upcoming shots.

It’s amazing how we still see new things in the MacGyver episodes after all these viewings. It makes me wonder what else is there to be spotted.

The guy on the street... I don't think that's Mac. Mac has on a University of Minnesota Sweatshirt - yellow - long sleeves. The guy on the street appears to be sleeveless (if you look real close, you can see that his arms are not covered). Possibly a body double - not thinking the camera was on him, and the editors - not thinking that ANYONE would likely find this mistake, left him wandering in from of the cameras.
