I had a GREAT day. Hubster got me a new watch, (a Fossil... very pretty) We all went to dinner, then saw Hellboy II (Gooood movie! Very funny at times. Love Ron Perlman...)

Even had a birthday cake, of sorts... made out of a whole bunch of stacked cupcakes. There went my diet, but it was SO worth it!

Unfortunately, no...

I don't think that many candles would have fit on that particular cake.

For my husbands 40th birthday (10 years ago...) I threw him an "old man" party, complete with black streamers and decorations, tiny little cake with like a hundred candles stuck all around it (darn near burned the kitchen down... *oops*) and an assortment of gifts that were tailored to the "older" generation. (Geritol, denture holders and wash, Depends for men, box of hair color, etc...)

He took it pretty well, but I'm still waiting for him to enact payback.
