What a great descriptive name for this punch.

He's such an energetic fighter! He must have learned to do this punch in Kansas! (tornado alley)

I always laugh when I see this. He actually knocks him self down from the motion. Wonder if he was supposed to fall or if it was by accident? This episode has lots of funny stuff in it. The tornado punch, the slow motion chess board to the head scene and the great quote by mac, "only wolves and owls can see the gates open" The scene where mac jumps from bed to bed acting crazy, "ok guys I give up" "I also drink blood" The scene where the guy locks him self in the closet and of course the scene were mac is wrapped up like a mummy. I might just have to watch this episode again, so much funny stuff.

They were originally going to write an episode about Mac being taken hostage in a Moroccan restaurant . . . but the bigwigs didn't like the title "Prisoner of Couscous".

A move that elaborate doesn't happen by accident. But I've always suspected that the silly full-circle spin could have been an addition RDA made in the process of rehearsing the fight sequence.

He might as well use the tagine instead of his fists to hit the guy, which may not look good on TV.

This is Mac -- he'd probably figure out a more elaborate use for it! If you held a tagine lid in each hand and boxed someone's ears with them, you could do major damage.
