Can anyone remember an episode from season 5 onwards where MacGyver dresses in this specific combination of clothes?

Nope, wasn't this just a reshoot for the opening credits? I can only remember him wearing a black one in Black Corsage.

You might be correct about the hangar being the one in Blind Faith. Maybe the plane was stationed there during the scene. Just like Jack's plane in the distance in The Odd Triple.

I think that's the old Pitt Meadows airport before most of it was redeveloped. I'm not sure about the aircraft - but if you notice the logo on the tail - I think it's "Anderson Air". They used that hangar in several Mac episodes.

Also, if you remember the SG-1 episode: Sight Unseen (season 6), where Jack follows the gas station guy into an airport hangar, he is hiding in another "Anderson Air" aircraft. And Yes... Anderson Air is a real company in Vancouver BC.

I haven't watched my MAC DVDs in a while (BAD Old Fan), but I'm pretty sure that Rock the Cradle was shot in that Pitt Meadows hangar, also Blind Faith is there as well, and the end of Halloween Nights where Mac says goodbye to Murdoc's sister - is on a runway there. I think also The Odd Triple... that whole beginning part where Mac uses the fire suppressant foam to elude from the French police as they take off in the jet.

Also SG-1's Tangent - the beginning where Teal'c is showing off the X-301 to Generals Hammond and Verdrine. And Touchstone - at the end when SG-1 finds the 2nd Gate in a hangar along with the Touchstone and the baddies escape by jumping into the Gate. Probably a few others, but my memory is fading (Hey... I'm OLD fan remember?)

I looked on the Pitt Meadows airport website and they did do some major redevelopment and renovations to the hangars in the 90's - as much of Vancouver has also changed - all just making it more of a challenge for us Mac fans to find these locations. More satisfaction when we do find them though!

Yeah, I haven't watched the credits with that in mind for awhile, but the Wenger knife opening scene and this one both appear exclusively in the credits. I always have some weird fantasy that there's some unaired episode/footage somewhere that I might be able to track down and watch someday.

It does indeed seem that that scene was just a re shot of the original opening credits scene.
