I have a rather serious topic today.

My sister is undergoing surgery today. She's having a mastectomy, a treatment for breast cancer and we (my family) are all praying for her.

I am asking any who read this topic to pray for her as well, or to just keep her in your thoughts.

So far, the doctors are unsure if this will totally get rid of the cancer, but they have stated this will be the best course of treatment.

So, please, if you would, take a minute and pray for my big sister.

I have some good and bad news. The mastectomy went well, and my sister is almost ready to go home, but the doctors found that the cancer had spread further then they thought. It has moved to some of the lymph nodes in her arm and she will need further surgery to remove those nodes. Then she will undergo a bout of chemo-therapy after that. The doctors are hopeful and, even though there was that spread, it didn't go far.
Again, thank you for keeping my sister and my family in your thoughts and prayers.

Hopefully they have noticed in time so with the next lot of surgery and the chemo she will have a good chance to beat it.

My sister had the second surgery a few days ago...
It went well and she is recovering...
I will post again, when I know more.
