When ellen is talking to mac after putting the pin on macs jacket you can see her husbands character and his handlers come into the scene a little early and stop and stand in the backround for about 2 seconds before continuing into the scene

when ellen picks up the gun, you can see she is wearing a large gold watch on her left wrist. when she pointing the gun at macgyver the watch is no longer on her wrist.

I know they had to pretend that the other guy (who had the mask of Mac on when he shot Jerico) but they completely failed to make this guy even seem like someone different.
Did he study the way Mac moved, specifically, the way Mac walks and runs? When fake Mac fires the shot, he turns and runs, and that is exactly how RDA runs.

Not really a nickpik and we know it was really Mac with that gun and then the characters were swapped when the bad guy took his mask off, but they could have made RDA move a little different, to not give the obvious impression that it was actually Mac all along.

I don't think any of that makes sense but I struggled to put it into words so sorry for any confusion!

Good call but I don't know. I really like to think that Madison Mason was indeed wearin a Mac-mask during that time. But this makes me think though or might reveal a little point of making the episode.

I like to see it as this. They really use a double for the assassination. It would seem like a whole lot of work to make an exact copy of Mac's face just so that the bodyguard only has to pull it off on the parking lot. Unless masks like that are easy and fast to make. Now I tend to think the bodyguard did study Mac's moves a bit when he was taking the pictures.

Now that brings me to the next part. I think in order to give the illusion of reality of what they were doing for that episode, they should've done it the way it's shown to us. Nikolaļ asked Mac to tape the broadcasting of the games for him at 3:00 o' clock, which we see Mac do. In so doing, Mac puts a tape in and starts watching the live broadcast when he sees himself passing through.

It most likely was just a part of a finished scene on tape he was watching instead of a live broadcast. But if it had to be real they should've been shooting two scenes simultaneously. The broadcast on location and Mac at home actually taping the scene.

I think it would add some reality to it. But like I said most likely that scene he was so called taping was already finished on tape and he is just watching the tape to create the illusion it was live.

Not sure if it's relevant though but I just found the clip on YouTube were in Mac and Nikolaļ escapes the incinerator. Two peoples there claim that when Mac breaks the window with the rod the incinerator should've blown up because of the oxygen that was coming in or should've made the fire burn harder.

I think the whole point of it was that we were suppose to think it was Mac weren't we?

When Mac drops the pin to pick the handcuffs in the cop car, the moment it falls into his hands, Mac is wearing a different kind of pants. It was a little hard to see but it looked like a jeans with buttons on the back pocket. Yet when Mac slides to the front, he's wearing the cargo pants again.
