I thought I would post tonight to let all of you know that I just got laid off from my
job today. As of Fed.20th I will no longer be employed at the energy company I worked for. Please keep me in your prayers that I may find another job soon. I was at this company for 3 years. They cut 100 people today and plan to cut more.

Its tough times right now my dad got laid off from where I work right before thanksgving. It's weird not being with him in the same office. I will keep you in my prayers

Sorry to hear your bad news.

I guess the only consolation is that they gave you plenty of time to start looking for another job.. but in the current climate.. thats not much of a consolation.

So sorry for you Sheila and to tell you just before Christmas too is not nice.

Hopefully you get a new enjoyable job soon.

I got fired earlier this year on my birthday and it took months to find a new job but now I have a great job caring for babies.
It didn't feel like it at the time but it was the best thing that happened to me. I am now much less stressed and much healthier.

I wish you an enjoyable Christmas and a wealth of opportunities for the new year.

Sad news. I believe there will be other opportunities for you. Be thankful for what you have. At least it's only a job.

A friend of mine just lost her 6 year old daughter on the 24th of December 2008. She's now one of God's angels.
