[The True MacGyver]

What does everyone think of this:

Sam Beckett of Quantum Leap jumps into MacGyver to face off against Murdoc, or something like that.

From a story telling point of view, I think it would be better for Sam to leap into a bystander.

That would give the opportunity of third person perspective. Also if Sam "was" MacGyver, he wouldn't be able to come up with good MacGyverisms etc, but if he's a bystander he can intervene, or even help MacGyver in the battle.

Interesting idea though.
