Have a question and I mentioned it once before. What do you think would happen if Mac met Dr. House? I wonder who would win the battle of mind? Interesting concept huh?

I think it's comparing apples to oranges actually.

MacGyver's mind works by seeing whats laying around and how it can be used to achieve a goal.

House's mind works by analyzing, deducing, hypothesizing and a strong dosing of pure arrogance to try and work out whats making someone sick.

Two very different styles of thought.

True but don't you think it would be interesting to see how these two men would work together. I agree House is the biggest jert of all times. But I would like to see how he and Mac would handle something that requires a quarantine. Can't you imagine the dialog?

Wouldn't be too much different from what we see already in the show.

There would be massive arguments about patents dignity and rights, to which House would reply by calling MacGyver some nasty name like "caring person" and then go behind his back and do whatever he was going to do anyway.

I opened a topic once about MacGyver meeting Michael Scofield. I think putting those two together might be better. They're both highly intelligent and Scofield can come up with a few ideas himself in order to help out.

I don't know. I think it would be an interesting episode. House has used some MacGyverisms of his own. The thing that would bother Mac would be Houses use of vicodin. I don't see House getting away with much with Mac around.

I don't watch Jail break Break that much but I can see putting Schofield with Mac, and how the intensity of the scean would work.

It is interesting to note that in Spain the same dubbing actor does House's and O'Neill's (not Mac's) voice

Now Jack O'Neill and House--there's a combination!

I think any combination would be interesting. But what would House know about a worm hole? To me the Jack O'Neill character has some MacGyver in him humor wise. I was just wondering wat a MacGyver/House conversation would be like. If I remember correctly Mac can hold his own against anybody.

Actually I think a conversation between MacGyver and House would delve into the science of whatever they where talking about.

MacGyver can hold his own when it comes to science so I think it would be a rather in-depth medical discussion, with House trying to one-up MacGyver and being frustrated when he couldn't.

That is what I would want to see. House trying to get a leg up on MacGyver and being frustrated when he couldn't. You expressed what I was trying to say much better then I was. Thank you.

HOUSE had a MacGyver episode. Of sorts. He referred to his team of MacGyvers as he tossed them a box full of junk that represented the limited supplies that a psychiatrist trapped in the South Pole had to work with to diagnose herself.

At one point they had her use a paperclip and test tube to test her blood.

You know I watched that episode and had forgotten about it. Still would like to see Mac take on Dr. House. Kind of battle of the brains.

Why go to all that trouble when you can just get down the the nitty gritty of it and have them greco wrestle?

It would be really funny to watch them bounce off each other. Mac has managed to figure out and defuse other arrogant characters in the past... wonder what he would make of House.

And don't forget... under all the arrogance and nastiness, House does have a pretty good heart. It would be kind of interesting to watch Mac coax out that side of him.

I think it would be a great episode. If Murdoc can come and get Mac to help rescue his sister, why can't he work with House?
