Rambo obviously.

When has Murdoc ever actually won any encounter with anyone?

He's all talk and grand ideas. He couldn't win if his life depended on it... oh.. wait... it usually does. laugh.gif

QUOTE (Rockambo)
He couldn't win if his life depended on it... oh.. wait... it usually does.

Which is why he always loses, suffers a fatal accident, and survives to appear in another episode anyway.

So Murdoc will win: first of all, he's smarter than Rambo (so are most domestic animals and 57% of the native vegetation); second, he's got the scriptwriters on his side. And his writers are more inventive than Rambo's writers.

blink.gif Who said anything about the writers being involved?

No-one mentioned writers!

Why didn't someone say the writers where involved? unsure.gif

You can't be keeping things like writers involvement a secret.

Did anyone else hear John say about the writers being involved?

You gotta tell people when the writers are involved in a grudge match.

What if the writers are holding a grudge?

Then what?

What if the writers are holding a grudge against their character?

They might conspire with the other writer to make their character lose!

That's not fair at all.

Thats why we gotta know when writers are involved.

We need to check them out make sure they're on the level. no back room deals being made.

Actually I think Murdoc is bad to the bone, he is successful everytime except against Mac, we just have not gotten to see him except when he loses to Mac. If we saw all his other successful contracts fulfilled then we would probably have a different outlook on him. That is in a fantasyland sort of assumption that I am making. laugh.gif

In this case I have The Widowmaker Murdoc in mind. Heavily scarred face, the military outfit, the flamethrower, the rifle and the knife and Rambo covered in mud with his machine gun and his knife. I think they would run to each other firing and blowing things up, neither gets hurt and when they finally meet, they would scream in each others face to see who can scream the loudest and the longest, than they leave.

If it turns out to a war probably Rambo would win. However The Widowmaker Murdoc would stop at nothing at all.

Hey!!! mad.gif Sly ain't such a bad writer. He just had a couple of misfortunes during his career. Can't blame him for trying everything: acting, writing, directing. Sly's back and he's going to bring the good old timer actioners or at least try.

But who wins? In versus situation or grudges there are never winners or losers only draws because Murdoc fans or whoever fans wins because they can't see their favourites lose. Murdoc fans wants Murdoc to win and Rambo fans wants Rambo to win. I like them both so who'd win? Neither.

I think it depends greatly on where this encounter takes place.

If it's up in the hills miles away from anywhere, Rambo. That's what he's trained to do.

If it's some built up urban area, I would say Murdoc would have the upper hand.

Wouldn't it be funny if after all this fighting Murdoc and Rambo discovered that they are brothers. Would really explain a lot about Murdoc's temperment. Don't you think? Then they could team up agains Mac. hmm.bmp

Rambo's a messed up soldier from 'Nam who wants to be left alone. So I clearly doubt they would be brothers. Or do you mean "military brothers"? Even than... Rambo is a killing machine indeed, but he kills bad guys.
