Well, both TV shows were shot in same street. The Police Station is situated in a very few meters from Venice Apartment.

In fact in the Pacific Blue Show you can see the MacGyver´s Apartment in different episodes and seasons.

Sorry, I don´t know how insert images. I captured some images from Pacific Blue. Anyway, you can see in the google earth the police station close to the apartment.

Well, MacGyver´s apartment is situated between Dudley Ave and Rose Ave.

The police station is situated between Paloma Ave and Thornton Ave. On the corner of Paloma Ave.

In MacGyver you can see the Land´s End restaurant, same building than Venice Bistro (Pacific Blue).

Cadillac Hotel (MacGyver and Pacific Blue): It is said that Charles Chaplin stayed in Cadillac Hotel for some vacations. Someone know if it is a real information?

The Venice Apartment in 1st Season is nearby to the Loft in 7th Season

I know that Baywatch was shot near Santa Monica, venice... Someone know if the venice apartment appears in that TV show too?

Depends what you call near by. Same city? same section of city? same street?

If you look at out locations map below, the two apartments are marked by the blue triangles and they don't look that nearby each other to me.

It was a good way to finish the TV show, choose the same place where MacGyver beginned, same district.

Wasn't Pacific Blue that old show on USA that had police officers riding bikes and ramping them and stuff? That was a pretty cool show actually!

Yes, that´s right. Pacific Blue was that TV show where police officers were riding in their bikes. A day I was watching that TV show and I realized that some places and buildings were known for me. Well many TV shows and movies were shot there so when I watched more episodies I realized that the MacGyver´s apartment was there too.

Anyway we can say that many places of California are known in the movies and TV shows. I watched the same places and buldings in different movies. For example the MacGyver´s home in the pilot episode is the same place of some parts of "rebel without a cause", "terminator", "transformers", "Bowfinger" and I am sure thet many others than I don´t know.

I was watchin TV and suddenly I changed channel and I saw Venice in a TV Show. It was "Baywatch" and It appeared the MacGyver´s Venice Apartment in a few seconds. I searched in the internet the episode. It was the Season 3, titled "Princess of Tides".

It also appeared in this episode the merry-go-round situated in Santa Monica Pier, the same that appears in the movies "the sting", "the net"...

I wander why the crew of MacGyver didn´t shoot in Santa Monica Pier, a very famous place in many movies and TV Shows.

Thats probably why right there.

They didn't want to use the same old locations as so many other shows and films had used.

The show was new and unique, so why not use new and unique-ish locations.
