Penny knocked on the door to the dark ominous mansion. It creaked as it swung open at her touch. The interior walls of the building were just as forbidding as the mansion. It seemed like the mansion disapproved of her and thought her foolish just to step foot on its floors.
It seemed like there were spirits in the house. Penny felt a cold breeze go up the back of her neck. It felt like someone was watching her. She paused before a big painting of her great-great-step-uncle. Richard’s frown seemed to deepen into a scowl. As she gazed down the rest or the murky hallway the remaining faces of her relatives seemed to sink into a form of a frown.
Penny had left her world in the busy city to come here to inherit this disturbing mansion. People had tried to stop her because they didn't want her to live in a haunted mansion. That only peaked her interest more.
Penny walked up the stairs she encountered at the end of the gloomy hallway. As she stepped off the staircase another ghost flitted past her and the candle’s flame she was carrying turned blue. The apparition eventually paused at the front of a room and motioned for her to enter.
Penny walked into the room which was entirely pink. The color was so intense she had to cover her eyes which caused her to black out.
When she awoke she was fully clothed in the pink room. Penny looked out the window where is seemed like even the sun was upset at her. It was shining when she woke up, but when she looked out on the visa it disappeared from view never to show it’s face again that day.
Penny walked into the library where every book seemed to be on two topics. Death and life she refused to touch the books and entered the kitchen. No meal was on the table, so she stepped out of the house and took a tour of the yard from a ghost standing right behind her.
The grass tried to keep her from entering into the forest, but is a failing job. The woods were as welcoming as they seemed from the outside. Right when she entered the forest the trees grouped closer around her like they wanted to squish her. Still, she persisted and continued through the forest refusing to give up. Eventually, it was the woodland that gave up first when she came to a clearing on the other side. There was another apparition waiting for her to take her back to the house.
The mansion jumped as she entered. When the family pictures saw her approaching, their normally smiling faces very quickly turned into frowns of disapproval. At this moment she heard a voice calling out to her, Penny slowly opened her eyes and show MacGyver standing over her in with that face
Of are you ok, Penny rubbed her eyes and looked up at him.
MacGyver: I’ve been trying to wake you up for some time Penny. Are you ok?”
Penny: “Yes MacGyver just a strange dream about this place.”
MacGyver leaned back up, smiled a bit and said: “Come with me Penny I have something for you too see.”
