Lisa Woodmen was a bad seed. She smoked, she drank, she was pierced all over. At just 16, she already scared her parents. That's how she ended up in the middle of the wilderness in a program for troublesome teens. A brat camp, so to speak. They had taken her drugs away and removed her jewelry, but she refused to let them get to her. She liked her way of life. Problem was, no one else did. She woke up far before anyone else in the camp. Slowly she rolled up her pack, exactly as she had been taught, but instead of the eye catching bright blue tarp she had been given, her things were wrapped in an earthen brown one she had smuggled from the extra supplies. Once she had that together, she snuck quietly out of her handmade tent. There were a few more things she needed, and she could only get them from a mentor's pack aka MacGyver’s pack. However, he keeps it close to his body she moved close to his pack and she removed a knife and a packet of fishhooks. The teens weren't allowed to have anything that could be used as a weapon. With everything she needed, Lisa Woodmen got out of camp fast. Weeks with the program had trained her for hiking, and she took great care in covering her tracks. She knew she could survive out here, so her plan was to disappear for a while, than make her way back to civilization. When she thought she was far enough away from the camp, she made a small fire, careful not to burn anything that would make smoke. Then she mixed up some mush from her food supply with a small pot and some stream water. "I'll show them," she thought triumphantly. "Nobody messes with Lisa.” As the day wore on, Lisa grew further and further from the camp. She was confident that they wouldn't find her, and entertained her by talking trash about the program and all of the mentors. "Those friggin' idiots. Take away everything, my smokes and my booze... SOBs can kiss my butt. Ain't gonna turn me into no goody-goody." She whittled sticks to fit her empty piercings and put mud on her face like war paint. She was the image of punk as only Mother Nature could portray. The sun was beginning to dip low in the clear blue sky, and Lisa decided it was time for another meal. She took a hook from the pilfered pack and tied it to some thin twine, forming a makeshift fishing line. After waited by the stream for a bit, she caught a fish. After cleaning and cooking it as she had been taught, she sat under the stars and ate. Panning across the speckled sky, her eyes came to rest on a unusually bright star. It appeared to her flashing, and somehow growing closer. No, it wasn't a star... Suddenly a burst of light from a flashlight flooded into her little place on earth, Lisa grabbed as much stuff as she could before turning and running as fast as a cat in fear, as she ran the light behind her seemed to get closer and closer, like someone was just as fast as she was, then she heard his voice. MacGyver: “Stop! Lisa.” It was her mentor and friend to the family, but she didn’t care she keep on running hoping to out run her mentor and proving to him she can make it out hear in the woods.
