I read on his website that he took a road trip, he and his friend took one, he said he was bitten by a winged animal, could it be a bat he was bitten. but none the less
he and his friend had one adventure more he can add to his list.

How small do you think Bats are?

some bats are pretty small, I think.

Now that I think of it, it couldn't been a bat, it more then likey was a bug of some kind.

yeah, bats don't crawl into your clothes and bite you.

Does anybody understand the part with the military thing? If they didn't drive back or around - did they sneak in and drive through? Or did the guard let them through, once he said "I'm General O'Neill"?

I think that's where they had to turn back and go another route.

I think the hairy winged beast may have just been a big bug, might have got into his jacket while riding, maybe he was leaning forward and it flew down his collar...

Actually my uncle had an accident with his motorcycle like this, a bee had flown into his helmet and bit him in the head. So I can understand how distracting that is at this speed!

He really should not tell us all these stories and make us worry even afterwards...
