“ Why wasn’t I notified sooner? .” Nikki asked as she rushed into Pete’s office.
“ How on earth did Murdoc get into this building let alone this office? I want those security camera images up here ASAP do you understand me!!!! What are you standing there for ? Move.”
“ Who has Mr. Thornton?”
“ A.J. I am sorry I forgot about you being here. Some cockroach named Murdoc. Every time we think he is dead he pops up again.”
“ Ms. Carpenter, I know that you don’t know me that well and I don’t work here. But if there is anything you need me to do, I am ready and willing.”
“ Are you sure you aren’t related to MacGyver? I mean you are so like him in many ways. You have a lot of what we call “ MacGyver-isms” .”
“ Ms. Carpenter, speaking of MacGyver , can’t you just contact him? I mean to help with this character “ Murdoc”?”
Nikki looked at the phone and whispered “ Oh Mac we need you more than ever right now.” Just then the phone rang and Nikki jumped.
“Hello Peter Thornton’s office.”
“ Nikki is that you ?”
“ Oh thank God, Mac you have uncanny timing.”
“ What’s up and why didn’t Pete answer is own phone?
“Oh Mac! Murdoc is at it again. He has taken Pete. Wait I just noticed a picture. Mac there is a note on the back for you.”
“ What does it say Nikki?”
“ Ineeny meenie miney moe , Where did Peter Thornton go? Ineeny miney mac ! Can MacGyver get him Back?”
“ I am coming back as soon as I can. Here is a number I can be reach . Keep me posted, and Nikki we will get him back.”
“ Mac take care . You know this is a trap.”
“I know Nikki, I will be careful . Don’t forget I know Murdoc better than anyone. Well at least as anyone could know him. I will call you back in a couple minutes to let you know exactly when to meet me at the airport. Bye.”
“ So MacGyver you think you know me? We shall see just how much you really do.” Murdoc muttered to himself as he pulled off the phone connecters .
“ This place really should do something about the security around here. Like hire some new guards.” Murdocchuckled as he walked over the two guards.

“ Did you get the information we needed Murdoc? He looked at Andria and smiled.
“ That and more. Our friend MacGyver called and gave me his number . Not only that but when and where he will be coming back.”
Andria started the car and pulled out into the street. She had only gone a short distance when he told her to pull over and let him off.
“ I have something I need to take care of . So go back and start working.”
“ What is that ? Maybe I can help?”
“No this is personal business and I already gave you a job to do.”
Murdoc watched Andria drive off before crossing the street and entering the building. He didn’t want anyone to know ,especially Andria, his secret. He knew that she would contact H.I.T. as soon as possible with the information.
“ Well that is what I would do if it were me. And she is like me.” He said as he opened the door.
“ This is Andria. Yes Murdoc has his plan set for MacGyver , Pete and the two new family members. No he isn’t here I saw him go into a building. No he didn’t tell me why. Just said it was personal business. Yes I can follow him and find out what he is up too . But is this really necessary?”
As she hung up the phone she shook her head and said to herself .
“ Ok Murdoc just what are you hiding? And just what does a Doctor’s office building have to do with this job? Mark my words I will find out your secret whether you want me to or not.”
