Taking a photo of someone in a public place isn't in any way invading privacy. That is, after all, why it's called being out in public. It's not quite the same thing as having the perverted scum climbing through your hedges or peeking through your windows.
I think RDA has been quite lucky to avoid a lot of the microscopic scrutiny that many celebrities find themselves subjected too these days. I reckon a lot of that is because he's very good at not drawing attention to himself and not acting like a star.
A lot of actors complain like hell about the paparazzi, but then the next day they're out "performing" for them again, doing stupid stuff which draws attention to themselves.
That is what is so admirable about him. I also think whether someone is in public or not it is ignorant to follow them around and take their picture without their permission. They could have the decentcy to respect someone's wishes to be left alone.
Being in a public place doesn't necessarily mean anyone can take photos of me. I guess this is one of the many standpoints that objectors hold against the installation of CCTV in public places by law enforcement bodies.
I'm not a celebrity of any kind but I don't like people focusing their cameras at me or on what I'm doing. Stars like RDA work very hard to keep a low profile and I think he welcomes anyone come to chat or take a photo with him if they ask for his permission nicely. Taking photos of people intentionally without asking for permission is rude.
I agree 100%. A decent person grants another privacy even in public. And it is only polite to ask permission before taking a photograph of someone else.

I agree with RDA 100%! Just like me, I live a private life and I want my privacy! But, I don't mind having a couple of friends now and then. Just respect me and my feelings.
