I just watched "Silent World" and also fountain of youth and noticed that the phoenix logo is everywhere. Jumpsuits, trucks, obviously placed on things "spur of the moment" like they didn't belong there and the prop department said, this needs a logo, bam.

Even Mac's fish finder in fountain of youth has phoenix plastered on it.

Do you think it was a little over the top?

I don't think it was. Logo placement is part of any companies marketing plan. If you go into any big company you'll find their own logo on everything, from vehicles through to pens.. literally.

You'd also be hard-pressed to find a piece of equipment that didn't have the manufacturers logo on it, so it seemed pretty normal to me to see the Phoenix logo on their equipment and clothing and stuff.

Yeah, definitely. And sometimes gear, ie the fishfinder, gets the company markings in a more permanent way to cut down on theft. My dad worked for a corporation that went crazy with their logo, possibly part of why they tanked

Phoenix should have distributed SAK's within the company with their logo, considering what MacGyver could do with one. Maybe the Scientist model in the labs, at least?

On a side note, I was going to say Phoenix was pretty widely known, (Bad Guy, looking at Mac's wallet after knocking him out) "OH, he's with the Phoenix Foundation, we better not kill him..."

Maybe all that marketing contributed to Mac's survival
