Out in the cold, for some spectacular skiing � without the avalanches..
Afterwards some hiking and camping in the woods. He could demonstrate his survival skills and we could compare knives.

Hopefully, we will come across something unexpected � bad guys, cranky wild animals, damsels in distress � so I get a chance to see Mac at his finest, up close and personal. And it sure would be nice if he would need my help.

I would want to meet Mac

by chance. Like on vacation. My husband and I had a wonderful opportunity to go to Tennessee for a week back in October.We saw some of the most beautiful country I had ever seen. We went this to town called Sweetwater and they had the worlds largest underground lake. What you do is hike down in the caverns about a mile and you come to the lake and you can even ride on a boat it . I thought about Mac while we were underground. It would have been neat to meet him and his son that way. While we are walking out of the cave there could be a cave in and we could band together to get ourselves out. He would need a medic and I have that kind of training. We would even have a funny moment

when we both pull out our SAK

at the same time.

I often have dreams where I meet or have already known MacGyver/RDA or Jack O'Neill and/or we are in a situation or on a mission together. Speaking for myself, I consider the idea of meeting RDA the same(minus the MacGyverisms) as meeting meeting MacGyver or Jack O'Neill since so much of the characters have been built around RDA. I have yet to meet my idol but it is a life long dream I hope to obtain.

Yep, I too would love to be able to shake RDAs hand and briefly tell him how his portrayal of MacGyver influenced my life.

As for meeting MacGyver, I'm still not sure how exactly I'd like to do it. I know it would be kewl to just hang out with him in the Houseboat chatting about issues of the day. But of coarse if it was today, it would be hanging out in the loft, which would be kewl too (just not as kewl as the houseboat) Maybe I'd try to talk him into rebuilding or buying a new houseboat

A fantasy I said goodbye to a long time ago. Actually living with the man as being part of his close environment just like Jack and Nikki were in the third season, still sounds interesting. Popping up once in a while to join an adventure, why not?

I like the idea of going camping or hiking with Mac; maybe a nice long backpacking trip down the Pacific Crest Trail.

And I'm also going to Meet the Man this summer; I'm hoping to be able to tell him how much the show has meant to me, and to thank him for everything he's done and continues to do.

A little set-up before I describe where I'd like to meet "MacGyver".

How many of us, when we see a vehicle like we drive parked in a parking lot, have ever parked next to it just because it's neat to do so. On a couple of occasions, I've gone out of my way to park next to a SAAB the same color as mine.

I would like to meet "MacGyver" when, after I park my

next to his at the grocery store, each of us happens to return to our vehicles at the same time and we each mistake the others Jeep for our own. We would each be a little embarrassed after realizing our mistake, we'd exit the vehicles, introduce ourselves, have a good laugh, shake hands, compliment each other on our good taste in Jeeps and go our separate ways.
