I just had this link sent to me for a MacGyver application which runs on iPhones.

By the looks of it the application is actually an ebook with a bunch of information about MacGyver, but unfortunately it's all in Italian, so it's a little hard to figure out.

There's a game we used to play with Google Translate -- you feed a famous quotation in at one end, have it translated into another language and then back into English, and howl at the results.

They've improved Google Translate a lot in recent years, so the results are no longer as wildly improbable. Back in 2004, I could enter "In a hole in the ground there lived a Hobbit" and get back "In a drilling in the soil a main header bit lived there."

What a great game!
