Michael Des Barres guest-stars on an upcoming episode of the FOX crime drama Bones, which airs on April 29th.

The episode, entitled "The Rocker in the Rinse Cycle", is about a murder that takes place in a fantasy rock 'n' roll camp and Michael plays the promoter of the camp.

This is Michael's first acting role since his appearance on Nip/Tuck in 2007.

Bones is one of the most popular shows on the FOX Network, and is currently in its fifth season. It stars David Boreanaz as Agent Booth and Emily Deschanel as Dr. Brennan.

Thanks for the link to the website! I ended up writing Murdoc for my current story, and did some research on Des Barres, since I had to figure out how the character was going to age. But somehow, I never actually made it to his own website!

I had no idea one of my favourite villains is of noble birth, and a Marquis at that. That's pretty high up the ranks of the blue blooded.
He looks nice and trim, at 62. Seems like the bad guy stayed in better shape than the good guy.
Or maybe he got a bit nipped/tucked along the way?

Too bad they didn't cast him in any Stargate SG1-episode. Come to think of it, he would have made a lovely Ba'al.
