They really ought to do a reunion party for this. My girlfriend attended the 25th Anniversary Party for "Scarecrow & Mrs King" a couple of years ago, and she got to meet the cast, writers, producers, etc. If that show can have it, why can't MacGyver? I'm sure plenty of people would be thrilled to meet up with RDA, Michael Des Barres, Bruce McGill, Elyssa Davalos, and whoever else they could round up for the event.
Oh well... maybe for the 30th anniversary....

I think Miasma is referring to the producers and powers that be who can contact all the relevant actors and crew to organize the reunion.

Right, that's what I was thinking.

But actually, I think MacGyverGod has a valid point-- I'm pretty sure the SMK reunion was at least in part organized by the fans. They did an impressive job, getting Bruce Boxleitner and several other cast members to show up, along with the writers, producers, etc. And a bunch of memorabilia. Kate Jackson refused to show up, unfortunately, so it was just "Scarecrow WITHOUT Mrs. King."

I'm not sure if anyone here has the clout to organize something similar for MacGyver. I know I certainly don't. I wouldn't even know where to begin. I guess it helps to have an enthusiastic cast that WANTS to get involved. I know RDA has done SG conventions, so maybe he'd be up for it. And Bruce McGill has a good reputation for being very generous with fans, so there's a chance he'd go for it. Michael Des Barres has said he adored RDA, so maybe if RDA showed up, Michael would be willing to come too. Getting those three together wouldn't be a bad start. But, like I said, I wouldn't know where to begin. Oh well, it's nice to dream.

Doing it international and being able to actually catch those guys and persuade them to come over is I think a too big of task to complete. But you can always do a members or fans meeting of some sort.
