After some discussion on another forum, the colective idea came up that for RDA's 2011 birthday, we donate whatever LITTLE we can to his friend, Lorie Sandoval who is suffering from ALS, a neuro-degenerative condition.
Kate R. has graciously offered to personally pass along all messages from the donors to RDA on his birthday.

ALONG with your birthday message to Mr. Anderson. All messanges will be put together, in the order we receive them and sent to Kate to pass along to Mr. Anderson. The individual receipts will NOT be forwarded to Mr. Anderson. Only the fundraising TOTAL.
It doesn't matter if all we can spare is $1. The power fans have is not in how much we can do, but in how many of us do it. If every one of RDA's followers on Twitter donated 50 cents, we'd be looking at at least $6,000 in donations. I hope you can see what I mean...
We also already have a couple people who want to donate items to be auctioned off on E-bay with the profits donated to the Sandovals. So you can get involved that way too. If you don't have an E-bay account, I can hold the auction for you on my E-bay. YOU are, however, responsible for securely shipping the item to the winning bidder.

That's simply the only account I have and since it's already verified and marked as such by E-bay, uploading and selling goes much smoother for more delicate items like the stamps. E-bay runs a very secure trade space for stamps transactions.
