Looks like an interesting show.

A Friend of mine on LJ posted RDA's scene--It is so great to see him on TV again! wub.gif

Anyone else think the picture in that article looks like it could just as easily be a still from a new MacGyver movie? blink.gif

RDA looks very MacGyverish in that picture.

It's a pretty good show. I started watching it from the beginning because I didn't want to get to RDA's scenes and be totally clueless (just being clueless is bad enough). I don't usually like the USA style shows, but this one is smart. You think things are cut and dry, and then they throw in a twist by showing you both sides of a situation. It's creative, and the humor's not bad either.

And probably the next best thing after getting to see RDA again -- it's NOT a freakin' reality show!!

Hey guys. So I was actually hearing rumors about a MacGyver movie and found this board trying to find info on it. However, it's kind of fate because I work for USA and thought this would be a great place to promote RDA's appearance on Fairly Legal last week. For anyone that hasn't caught the show, we have full episodes online (http://www.usanetwork.com/series/fairlylegal/video/fullep/), but RDA's isn't available yet.

Bandersnatch, I'm glad you're already enjoying the show. I personally was a little tired of legal/courtroom shows, but you're right, this is a nice unique spin on it.

But you can't tell me this face isn't meant for the big screen...user posted image

I would definitely love to see RDA get a spot on the big screen. I'm not even sure I'd go see a 'MacGyver" without him in it at some capacity -- no, actually I'm certain I wouldn't go see it. You can't recast a legend, and for me, both RDA and Mac are worthy of such a title

I don't think anyone would dare try to recast him if/when they finally do a Mac movie. But for now, you can take comfort knowing that RDA will be doing more than just a one episode guest appearance on Fairly Legal. You can check out the episode guide on Fairly Legal's website (http://www.usanetwork.com/series/fairlyleg.../s1_cominghome/) to look at the upcoming episodes.

It amazes me that they haven't shown more of RDA so far. At this point they end the 3-5 mins he's on with the 2 characters waiting for the other to talk or leave and then on the next episode it isn't even mentioned, let alone, picked up from that point. THEN 2 more episodes come and go without showing RDA's character. Way to confuse and tick off your viewers. If they were smart they would have him on all the time but they can't even keep the thread going yet.

Nice final episode for the season -- I hope it gets renewed. I might even watch it if they don't bring back RDA's character, although I wish they would. David Smith holds an interesting key to Kate's father's past.

It was good to see RDA "in action" again. He plays the "casual male" so well, and suits the charismatic role perfectly. His strong naturally presence is hard to miss, especially if he's wearing one of his sly grins. It was also nice to hear him laugh --it didn't happen enough on SG-1 or MacGyver.

Seeing Teryl Rothery a few episodes back was cool too...

From Rick's Site.

"Wish I had an answer for you regarding "Fairly Legal." I love reading [on the internet] about what I'm supposed to be doing because if it weren't for these little snippets of "information" I wouldn't have a clue. No one from the Company has spoken to me. I suppose I should investigate the status of things."

I think Rick's character David has something up his sleeve he has something hidin' something dark about Kate Reed's father and David Smith past as well, it could break Kate's world and what she knows.
