While a common site in the US, are Jeeps not so common there in NZ? It does look like a modern version of the old... whatever Mac's was called before the Wranger haha. Jeeps all have names no but it used to be CJ7 and codes like that. Did a guy with a mullet and bomber jacket come climb into it, chatting on the phone yelling something like "How many times do I have to tell you Jack, NO! Remember what happened last time we flew to South America?"

That sure would make a man go like: 'Huh?'

No ,American vehicles of any brand are rare here. Our cars are mostly Asian brands.

Any US vehicles have to be specifically imported. Although having said that I the newer types of Jeep are a bit more common to see, but this type is pretty rare, so they really stand out when I see one.

Wrangler jeeps are quite common in the states. They ride rough but they sure hold up on value. Even used ones are quite pricey but they're way cool.
