In here Finland, those Wranglers cost over 50 000€ + taxes so its impossible to own that vehicle. In US dollars that 50 000€ price is some 64 000$ , so that Wrangler in Finland cost alike than some new Lincoln MKS in America. The price on TJ's was before about 30 000€ but the price changed about 20 000 more, because of some tax rate change.
I'm gonna buy a 2006 Jeep Wrangler

If I ever get my driver's license, I gotta get me one of these.

Does anyone know where I can get a pair of the side view mirrors like the ones sometimes used on Mac's when he had the top and the doors off? I have looked and looked and haven't been able to find them. I contacted a couple of parts warehouses, even sent pictures and no one knows what they are or if they're even brand mirrors.

From my secret warehouse... they'll cost you though.

On Saturday while driving home from my grandma's, a rain storm hit and in the lane next to me were a couple guys in a Jeep Rubicon with the top and doors off. Traffic was backed up so they weren't going anywhere fast. These guys were soaked but they just kept talking and looked to be having a good time. I was so jealous.

True Jeep owners Embracing the situation and enjoying it.
No point complaining about something you can't control, might as well enjoy the refreshing rain and have some fun instead.
Have to wonder about the electronics in the dash etc though. They water proof?

The only main problem areas are the dash and steering wheel components. They're not water proof. Other than those, the worst thing is having the carpeting be wet for a while if one doesn't take it all out and let it dry for a few days. Most Wrangler owners will still say "bring on the rain!" though haha

You can actually take off the floor carpet from the Wranglers and wash it if it gets wet or dirty also there are drain plugs underneath the carpet so you can dry the body floor faster.

Those drain holes work great! I've read that a lot of people keep the carpet out at all times so they don't have to worry about cleaning it or anything. I've always kept mine in. It's super easy to remove it all so it's never bothered me. I was actually thinking about removing all the carpet and having the entire area that the carpeting covers sprayed with Line X bed liner. Apparently a lot of the Jeep owners that have done this are really happy with it. I already had the front grill area of mine sprayed with it. The body of the Jeep is silver and I opted to do the grill with the black Line X for a more unique look. I think it turned out pretty good. I could post some pictures of it if anyone would like to see.

I keep my spare tire in the back with it's cover on since I don't keep the back seat in. There's more room for gear and also for groceries when I go shopping (haha it's my daily driver too so....) Plus, the spare tire is much better protected and easier to get to in an emergency or in cold weather. I didn't want to mess with removing the 3 lug nuts holding the tire onto the rear tire carrier in below zero temperatures if I ever needed to use the spare. That being said, replaced the tire carrier with that black vented plate and installed a custom LED 3rd brake light. The plate had that little gecko emblem cut out of it already so I lightly sanded, primed, and painted it. It's automotive paint but I had to mix white and green to get that color. Being as sticky, tacky, and quick drying as auto paint is, that part was kind of a pain lol. To get into the tiny areas by the legs and tail I took a small hobby paint brush and trimmed the bristles in a "sharp" needle like point since I couldn't find one small enough. The stock rear bumper has since been removed and replaced with a steel one similar to the front (minus the hoop of course). I'll post a picture of that in the next few days : )

Cool.
Would look cool to have the license plate under that center break light. Would probably cover the gecko though.
Have you thought about installing a back window? It would help with those sub zero teperatures.
Thanks Mhmm, many put their license plate there. In fact, there are even a number of companies that make kits specifically for that. I considered doing it that way in the beginning but the holes left from the original license plate holder would have to be filled in, sanded, primed and painted. Well I guess they wouldn't have to be but at least that's how I would want to do it. Anyway, it's still a possibility but I will wait until it gets warmer
lol! Yeah my window is on now! (Those pics are from last summer) Funny you mentioned that, as I actually saw a Wrangler about a month ago with no rear window. They were driving in front of me and didn't have a rear window on. It wasn't as cold as it is now (I'm in the midwest) but it was still only about 23 degrees or so. Maybe the zipper was broken or something. The rear windows have a zipper that can be difficult at times.

I wish! By the way, you have a very nice looking Jeep! I enjoyed all the photos.
