Answer to Backerffluid : he has too a kniffe and much adhesive band

Been racking my brain for something to ask. This might only work for US peeps, but I'll try anyway.

In the episode "The Invisible Killer" there is a forestry ranger, but I can't remember her name. She also played a recurring role in another 80s TV show. If I give another clue, it may give it away, so let's see if anyone gets it before I do that. Real name or who she plays in this other show will pass.

The actress' name is Jean Bruce Scott.

She actually had a co-starring role in two 80s TV shows . . . Magnum P.I. where she played Maggie Poole and Airwolf where she played Caitlin O'Shannessy.

What is the license plate number of MacGyver's Jeep Wrangler?

* I'll give a hint . . . there were at least three different license plate numbers used on his Jeep, two of which appeared on the same episode at the same time (isn't that illegal? ). Any of the three will serve as the correct answer.

On a related note, having perused the Jeep photos and text, Mac's "Car Phone" was situated in front of the center console, not between the front seats, with the base of the phone pointed toward the driver.

With regard to the third license plate, it can be seen in the episode "Soft Touch" on the back of Mac's Jeep when he is trying to straighten out the bumperette on back left hand side that Penny dented when she backed into the Mercedes. I have it written down at home and will post it when I get off work tonight. Like I said in a previous post, during "Soft Touch" Mac has two different license plates on his Jeep at the same time.

With regard to Mac's car phone, in the episode "The Negotiator" while sitting in the passenger seat, with Deborah driving, Mac picks up the phone. Right before he does so there is a camera angle on his phone where you can see the lock of the center console. Given that Mac's Jeep is an automatic transmission (with the gear shift lever on the steering column) there would be more than enough room for his phone to be mounted in front of the center console since there isn't a manual gear shift lever protruding from the floorboard.

Guess who has a lot of time on his hands to search this stuff out?

So the 3rd plate is actually a nitpick then.

I was wondering what that lock was in the shot of the phone. It's weird because it looks like Deborah is reaching back behind the center console rather than down in front of it.
