I made a webpage up a while back creating a hockey team with tv and movie hockey players, and I have Mac on the team along with a couple other Mac episode players. Check it out! https://sites.google.com/site/hockeydreamte...d-tv-dream-team

That's pretty cool.

You could have Father) Patrick Lafferty? (The Madonna) and Father Jim (There But For The Grace) as back ups. wink.gif

Great job! Really enjoyed Mystery, Alaska and Youngblood as well.

Have you not seen the cult classic Slap Shot! as of yet? If not, you'd better give it a look. There were some actual pro players who took part in that film that is perennially within the Top 10 sports movies of all time - including the Hanson Bros & current Anaheim Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau. Having played hockey in that era and against players who had just returned from the league portrayed, I can tell you that it was all every bit as nutz as the film portrays. Rated R for violence & language. Just came out on Blu-ray btw.

Oh yes, I love Slap Shot! But I would not want any of the players from the movie on the team, they were not any good, just rodeo clowns and goons. Awesome movie though! I have got to go see the Hanson brothers on tour before they quit touring! They usually even have some sort of game with fans, which I would love to play some of that 'old time hockey' with them!
