Hello everyone! Well, I said I would show you all my Mac collection, and Kiwi said to start a thread in "House Boat" so....here I am!

My dream one day would be start a MacGyver museum, that's what I REALLY would like to see happen. Maybe one day....who knows? For now, I'll just keep collecting!

Okay, so first here is a pic (sorry the quality isn't the greatest! I had a hard time with the flash!) of my MacGyver Jeep and a Mac and Pete spinning tops, and a Mac cereal box ring. (Again, sorry about the quality!)

The MacGyver 100th episode hat. This was a gift to the cast and crew to celebrate the 100th episode.


My cast and crew jacket, for the actual set of MacGyver. This jacket is rumored to be John Rich's jacket, but I can't confirm that.

I have lots more Mac stuff that I'll post in the future if you all want to see more. This is just a part of what I have. I'm always happy to show people my collection who actually want to see it.

If I open a museum, it would be a non profit museum for me, with all the money would go to charities. It would be a Mac museum after all, and that would just seem like the right thing for me to do. I don't want money, I just would like to do it because it would be fun for me. Maybe it will happen...someday. I'll keep you all posted

I LOVE the sticker book. I think it's so awesome. But I've always been a sucker for pictures. I love pictures. I'm one of those weird people that is always taking pictures of things. XD

I'm back to post more of my stuff. I'm so happy that so many of you have taken an interest in what I have.

Deizen, actually, I have only been collecting Mac stuff for about a year and a half now, so not as long as you might think. But yes, Mac collectables are extremely hard to find. I had to really dig around and search for what I have. Right now, my collection is kinda at a stand still because I've been having a hard time finding Mac memorabilia at the moment. I'm sure things will pick up soon though.

Okay, here is a Mac toy that has always had me puzzled. Its a MacGyver dart gun. Mac never uses guns...so I'm not sure why this toy was even made. I debated if I should buy it or not, because it is so out of character. But, it is licensed by Paramount....so it was manufactured with the consent of the people who made MacGyver, so I bought it.

Do you have the Mac action figure? That is the one Mac item I have always wanted, even though it's obviously not a great likeness. I found one on a south american ebay site a couple years ago and posted a link to the auction, but no one here seemed interested, which was odd. I didn't buy it myself b/c I couldn't afford it at the time.

Where did you find all this stuff? I can't remember offhand which country produced some of these things (and can't figure out where on here the toys were discussed) . The cards and the sticker book make me think New Kids On The Block fangirl craziness. lol

Was there an ep where he used a flare gun or am I thinking of something else? It's not a gun that fires bullets, so that makes it ok I guess. lol It's a dart gun and in Target MaCgyver he uses a blowgun to fire darts. Darts = good. Bullets = bad.

You've got the Good Knight MacGyver scripts! Is there maybe stuff in there that wasn't used?

You really have a great collection. Boy, I thought I was obsessed with learning the episode titles and my videotapes and watching episodes every day and my writing. Come to think of it, despite my stories, videotapes and dvd's, I don't have anything of Mac-collectibles. Maybe that CD, I once received.

He used a flare gun as a thruster (after pounding the nozel down) in the pilot episode. So he didn't actually use it as a gun.

Who knows what Paramount where thinking with that dart gun toy - or even if they were thinking.

MacAbigail, after seeing your MacGyver lapel pin I went on eBay and found one, along with a small rectangular lapel pin with a picture of Mac on it. I'll me adding the pin to my MacGyver collection. I think I'll display it among my collection, which I'm slowing building . . . one at a time.

@Wheeljack, no sadly I don't have the Mac action figure. I do know the one you are referring to though. I wanted it, but the price just got too high for me. I hope to get my hands on one someday.
Where did I get all this stuff? Well, LOTS of different places, Ebay being one of them. Most of my Mac stuff comes from South America and European counties.

@MacGyverGod, Naw, the script follows the episodes, no changes It would be cool if there was some changes though..like some extra scenes or something lol

@KiwiTek, I know, I really wonder what Paramount was thinking when they allowed the toy gun to be made. I know its SO out of Mac character...but its brand new still in the packaging and its so rare.. I just had to grab it. Its totally a mystery to me as to why it was even made.

This is a Richard Dean Anderson biography....which I actually found in Canada! I had never head anything about it before I bought it, and I tried looking it up and everything and I can't find any information on it. Its written entirely in French, so I can't read it. There are pictures in it and everything, so I think its pretty cool. I don't know how accurate it is though, because like I said, I can't read it

Hey, Mac stopped for a "smoke" in the pilot, don't ya remember?

Those packaged sets have more of a GI Joe vibe to them than Mac. I think they were just generic toys they stuck a sticker on, not specifically designed for the show. They probably sold these same toys in different colors and packaging under other names.

I was just looking for MacGyver On Ice the other day. Prices are still frightening, I actually started looking to see if someone had stuck pdfs or text online, but didn't see any.

If I remember right, the MacGyver toy sets were the kind sold in grocery stores. I think I remember seeing them when they originally came out but passed on them given the poor quality and the fact I would never have played with them. Of course, in hindsight, I should have bought them given how much they go for now.

YOU HAVE MACGYVER ON ICE! LOL, I'm drooling over here looking at your collection. XD It's amazing. You're doing pretty darn well for only a year and a half!
